LEGAL CAREERS DINNER 2008 (01st of August, 2008 - Joyi Li) The Legal Careers Dinner is an annual tradition of the Monash International Law Association. Each year, we aim to bring students together with prospective employers from multiple professions, allowing you to gain a greater perspective on the career paths available to a law graduate. Attendees include large/medium law firms, banks, government organisations, members of the Victorian Bar, accounting firms, etc. This year the LCD will be held at Melbourne Museum, and looks set to be an invaluable opportunity for ALL students - local, international, undergraduate, postgraduate - to meet with potential employers. The night will start with a pre-drinks/canapes allowing students the opportunity to mingle with firms, and continue with a three-course dinner, where students will be able to sit with firm representatives, and gain a greater insight into various career opportunities.
